The Long Road:
For some, the road is very long...very hard.
Some have been robbed of life-long dreams, you've shouldered burdens alone.
Some have bodies that cannot sustain your spirits, bodies that betray you - bodies that break-down.
Some have lost a partner, spouse, Mother, Father, Brother, Son or loved one.
Some have spouses who won't talk or pray with them.
Some have bills that out-number your paychecks.
This road is sometimes hard and full of pain. You're tired.
Right now, let yesterday's challenges be lost in the Season and why we celebrate Christmas. God never said that the road/journey would be easy, but He said the arrival would be worthwhile.
He may not do what "we" want...but He'll do what is right and best. Trust Him.
The trials of this journey will forever be lost in the joys of the Season, knowing Him, and why He came to Earth.

A poem for Our Family...
His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away - His journey's just begun, life holds so many facets - this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think of how he must be wishing that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched... for nothing loved is ever lost -
and he was loved so much.

My Dear Family
I said a prayer for you today, I know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame..I knew you wouldn’t mind.
I asked Him to send treasures of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He’d be near you in all things great and small.
But it was for His loving care I prayed for most of all.
